English Language Arts & History

Ali Farah

Hello.  My name is Ali Farah, and I am thrilled to be the English language arts and world history teacher at California Street Academy of Science and Engineering (CASASE).  I grew up in the central valley and moved to San Diego after graduating from California State University, Fresno in December, 2000. I later obtained my teaching credential in English, a Masters in Education, and a supplementary authorization in social science.  I previously taught 7th and 8th grade and am looking forward to a new adventure teaching 9th graders this year. Being an educator must be in my DNA. My mother is a retired elementary school teacher, and my father was a professor at UCLA. As for my personal life, I have a lovely five-year-old daughter who is the light of my life.  We enjoy time at the beach and pool, road trips, and Disneyland.
