Morning Announcements

November 19, 2019

STUDENTS:

Don’t forget that this week we are focusing on gratitude. We often think of big things in life when we think about gratitude, but appreciating every day experiences also has benefits. Do you ever stop to appreciate sharing a fun moment with friends or family? How about appreciating that feeling you have when your hear your favorite song? Do you feel grateful when you get to enjoy your favorite food? What ordinary things are you grateful for right now?

Our annual canned food drive is underway. This is our opportunity to give back to our beautiful community of Oceanside and help someone else in need.  Please take your canned food items to your fifth period class for counting. The class that brings in the highest number of canned foods will have the opportunity to throw pies at the admin during a lunch time activity. Bring in those cans Panthers!

Calling all Panthers!  Mrs. Bulicki is looking for help to kick off this year's Lincoln Green Team on Wednesday in D-2 at lunch.  Our team is in charge of making decisions about the water bottle fill stations coming this winter as well as collecting bottles & cans and running e-waste events on weekends.  Come help us make decisions on how best to recycle and reduce waste here at Lincoln as well as to use the money to benefit our school community.  We are meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, in D-2 at lunch.
